Prior to Mission Driven Energy, Ingrid worked for fifteen years at General Motors where she took on various technical and leadership roles, from Research and Development, Design, Global Innovation, to EV Growth Operations.
In the last several years, Ingrid fulfilled critical roles, including developing profitable approaches for the company to enter new energy markets - the origin of what has become GM Energy, as well as the definition and development of GM’s EV battery sustainability strategy, cradle-to-grave. She is an expert in lithium-ion battery recycling and second life use. She has deep knowledge of electric vehicles and clean energy solutions.
A polymer scientist by background, Ingrid strives to drive innovation through data and experimentation and has learned to ground them in robust business considerations.
Ingrid received her Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Connecticut. She has authored 30 patents and multiple research publications in leading journals.
